SOUTH ISLAND ROBIN
The South Island Robin is a small ground foraging bird that lives on a diet of insects and worms. They predominantly live in forested and scrub habitats.
They are not overly colourful so here I have painted the bird perched above a small morainic pool and sort to enhance the colour of it and its environment to bring focus onto what might otherwise go unnoticed.

★★★★☆
This colouring book was a gift for a friend who was travelling to New Zealand. Something to while away the hours on the long flight. It was well received.
