CALL OF THE DOTTEREL
Just south of Auckland is Duders Reserve. Here there is an expansive estuary environment providing suitable habitat for varities of
shore and wading birds. It is a rather picturesque area when the tide is incoming and fills the many inlets between the banks formed by millions of sea shells. The Dotterel's shrill call sounds as a warning should you approach too close.
While this painting is unframed it may be hung as is since a dark borader has been painted around the edges of the board.
