CRY OF THE OYSTERCATCHER
Duders Reserve is situated south of Auckland City. Here there is an expansive estuary environment providing suitable habitat for varities of
shore and wading birds. It is
a rather picturesque area when the tide is incoming and fills the many inlets between the banks formed by millions of sea shells. One of its inhabitants is the Oystercatcher which will forage the mud flats for small invertebrates.
