NUDE STUDIES IN PENCIL Full body pencil portrait studies of a model. I have always been particularly fond of the bottom drawing. The nude figure or the portrait is often one of the most rewarding of subjects because it is perhaps the only time the artist gets to share the experience with another person. Whereas the painting of landscapes, abstracts and so on is a solo affair as so much of painting is done alone. |
