THE GATHERING

I was inspired to compose this painting from my enjoyment of Hammer Horror movies as a boy and my continued enjoyment of the genre. Once again the painting has been composed strictly from the mind with no reference what-so-ever. I have used much larger and broader brush strokes here to fool the eye into creating it's own detail.
