THE GATHERING
I was inspired to compose this painting from my enjoyment of Hammer Horror movies as a boy and my continued enjoyment of the genre.
Once again the painting has been composed strictly from the mind with no reference other than experience and intuition. I have used much larger and broader brush strokes here which has the effect of letting the eye create it's own detail.
